About The Position

The primary job function in Endoscopy is to facilitate scope reprocessing compliance and be available for immediate transport of scope to and from Central Sterile. Duties also include patient care and transport. Delivers direct patient care in collaboration with the Registered Nurse. Performs tasks that do not require nursing judgements or administration of medications. Duties include, but not limited to: Bedside patient care, vitals, positioning, feeding and EKG. Is accountable for the patient care they deliver. Adheres to St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center standards of care and practice.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Medical background preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity preferred
• Basic computer skills required
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• First Aid training provided upon hire

Nice To Haves

• Patient care hospital experience is strongly preferred

Benefits

• Pay range: $17.25 - $25.00 based on experience, skills, and education
• Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates
