About The Position

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, performs specific assigned duties in providing patient care for critically ill patients in accordance with established SRH and Nursing Services Policies and Standard Work. Functions in a supportive role to communicate patient care needs and resolve work-related issues. Performs any other job related duties as requested by Nurse Manager or Department Director.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Current S.C Nurse Aide Certification OR passed fundamentals in RN/LPN school OR completed Surg Tech or EMT course OR completed 2-year Health Science Technology Program OR completed Patient Care Tech course (with CNA certification).
• BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for critically ill patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Communicate patient care needs effectively.
• Resolve work-related issues as they arise.
• Perform any other job-related duties as requested by Nurse Manager or Department Director.
