About The Position
Hershey Outpatient Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Patient Care Technician to join our team. Hershey Outpatient Center is a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. Job Summary: Provides direct patient care under the direction of an RN by assisting patients with changing linens, ambulation, and transport. Maintains a clean and orderly patient care environment. Assists during patient examinations and procedures as needed. Obtains and records patient vital signs, provides nutritional intake and reports results and observations. Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Current CPR or BLS.
- Demonstrates necessary clinical competencies.
- Utilizes good communication skills.
- Has a positive attitude.
Nice To Haves
- CNA, MA or other certifications preferred.
