The Patient Care Technician (PCT), under the direction of a registered nurse, is responsible for direct patient care considering age specific, developmental, cultural and spiritual needs. They assist in establishing and maintaining a patient care environment that is clean, safe and conducive to patient/family wellbeing including concepts of relationship-based care. Training is provided to prepare colleagues for success.
