About The Position
The Patient Care Technician will function under the direction of a Registered Nurse to provide delegated, direct patient care interventions, including the performance of sterile and non-sterile procedures. Responsibilities include providing a safe environment for assigned patients, monitoring patients for changes in condition, documenting work completed, and reporting pertinent observations. This position is crucial for maintaining efficient workflow and ensuring safe, quality care with a patient-centered approach. Independent clinical decisions are outside the scope of this position, and clinical questions should be referred to the provider or nurse.
