How you’ll make an impact in this role Assist patients with mobility, positioning, and activities of daily living (ADLs) to ensure comfort and safety during specialty treatments. Assist patients to and from exam room and assistance into clinic. Observe and promptly report fluctuations in patients’ physical, mental, and emotional status to the nursing staff to facilitate high-quality continuity of care. Maintain accurate and timely clinical records and patient documentation in accordance with clinic protocols and regulatory standards. Ensure required department documentation is completed timely on all patients (vital signs, height, weight, intake assessments) Ensure patient rooms remain clean and organized while performing routine maintenance and prep on specialized medical equipment. Ensure instruments are cleaned and transported to hospital for sterilization. Ensure supplies are within date range and in good working conditions.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
