How you’ll make an impact in this role Provide direct clinical support by performing phlebotomy, monitoring vital signs, and assisting patients with mobility and personal care needs. Maintain unit readiness by cleaning and stocking triage rooms and promptly responding to patient call lights to ensure a safe, efficient environment. Execute clerical and administrative tasks, including registering patients in the computer system and accurately preparing medical charts. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to assist with various unit needs, ensuring seamless patient transitions within the Women's ED. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while multitasking in a fast-paced emergency setting.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
