Patient Care Tech - Acute and Transitional Care - MacNeal and Gottlieb
About The Position
Thank you for your interest in our Patient Care Tech positions. We have openings in both Acute Rehab and Transitional Care Units at our hospitals in Berwyn (MacNeal) and Melrose Park (Gottlieb) Our units work with patients that are post stroke, heart attack, transplant and ortho procedures in an inpatient setting. Average patient stay is up to 10 days. Some of the accolades our units have received: American Heart Association's Target: Stroke Honor Roll award. To qualify for this recognition, hospitals must meet specific criteria that reduce the time between an eligible patient's arrival at the hospital and treatment with a clot-buster thrombolytic. Our Skilled Nursing Unit is CMS 5 Star rated and has been recognized by US News and World Report as best in Short Term Rehabilitation for 3 consecutive years! Requirements
- Certified Nurse Assistant
- BLS (Basic Life Support) through AHA
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education
- 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
