About The Position

It’s Time to Get Better! Piedmont Eastside Medical is 310- bed multi-campus facility, serving Gwinnett and surrounding counties. The Family Care Center which provides couplet care are making a difference in every life they touch. This 17- bed unit focuses on post-partum care, monitoring, and education. Staffed with RNs, Charge Nurses, and PCTs that create a very compassionate and collaborative team.

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• Entry Level Required
• 1 year of patient care experience Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Required

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of patient care experience Preferred
• Certification from a Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician program Preferred

Responsibilities

• The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.
