The work schedule commitment for this position requires the following: Must be able to work day Shift Must be able to work (3) 12-hour shifts in a 6-week schedule with one of those 12-hour shifts being a weekend day.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- AHA BLS required
Nice To Haves
- PCT or related certification, Certified nursing assistant (CNA), EMT cert preferred
- Minimum of 2 years nursing assistant, PCT or healthcare experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs assigned nursing procedures for the comfort and well-being of the patient
- Maintains appropriate documentation on all assigned patients, including flow sheets
- Maintains advanced knowledge and experience with phlebotomy and lab specimen collection including T&S, Blood Cultures
- Assists physicians with examinations and tests as needed
- Other tasks include respiratory services, and rehabilitation services
