About The Position

Dayton Physicians Network is looking to add a Patient Care Tech to our independently owned Urology practice! Summary: The Patient Care Tech assists physician and practitioners with patient care, administrative, environmental, and organizational tasks. Schedule: Monday through Friday; 4-10 hour shifts or 8-5 hour shifts No weekends, evenings or holidays! Work/life balance schedules Why work for Dayton Physician's Network? Requirements

  • High School or Equivalent
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Attendance and punctuality are essential requirements of this position to provide excellent customer service to both our internal and external stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical Office experience preferred.
  • Experience with a Practice Management system is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greets patients and assists with patient flow. Including assisting with turning over exam rooms, escorting patients and managing the collection of specimens.
  • Putting away daily stock deliveries.
  • Works effectively as a team member in the delivery of care and assists the clinical team to keep clinical schedule on time.
  • Maintains good working relations with staff through appropriate communication.
  • Be professional in appearance, attitude, and communication.
  • Scanning and indexing documentation, including working in Adobe Docusign software.
  • With specialized training and written approval, may perform additional and specialized tasks pertinent to the assigned area.
  • Other duties as assigned.
