About The Position

Position Summary: The Patient Care Tech is imperative to increasing efficiency, productivity, as well as patient and team satisfaction. Responsible for room turnover, assisting in opening of supplies onto the sterile field, and patient care as delegated by the RN, CST, and/or the Anesthesiologist. Additional responsibilities include patient transports, supply management, test and validation of anesthesia machine circuits between cases, and other duties as requested.

Required High School Diploma or Equivalent
American Heart Association BLS

This role requires regular and sustained attendance.
The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.
On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs.

Infectious diseases are caused by contact with patients in areas that may have contagious illnesses. Emotionally challenging situations, such as dealing with distressed patients or difficult family interactions.
