About The Position

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) plays a vital role in the healthcare team, providing essential support to patients and assisting nursing staff in delivering high-quality care. PCTs are responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs, assisting with daily living activities, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Completion of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) program or equivalent training preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained in first 30 days of hire.
  • The required skills for a Patient Care Technician include strong communication abilities, which are essential for effectively interacting with patients and their families.
  • Attention to detail is crucial when monitoring vital signs and documenting patient information accurately.
  • Empathy and compassion are key skills that enable PCTs to provide emotional support to patients during challenging times.

Responsibilities
