About The Position
The Patient Care Technician (PCT/HUC) role is focused on providing direct patient care and support within a surgical telemetry and orthopedic-neuro-spine unit. This position involves assisting patients with their daily needs, performing vital sign checks, and preparing patients for medical procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The PCT/HUC plays a crucial role in maintaining patient dignity and safety while contributing to the overall operations of the unit.
