About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• CNA, MA, or other relevant certifications required.
• One year of experience directly related to specified duties is preferred.
• Knowledge of patient care charts and patient histories.
• Patient interviewing skills.
• Ability to perform standard clinical procedures according to established protocols.
• Knowledge of patient evaluation procedures.
• Ability to adapt to change quickly and possess a strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care by assisting patients with dressing, ambulation, and transport.
• Maintain a clean and orderly patient care environment.
• Assist during patient examinations and procedures as needed.
• Obtain and record patient vital signs and report results and observations.
• Assist in multiple areas within the facility to efficiently provide surgical services.
• Perform materials inventory and procurement as needed.
• Provide clerical assistance in the facility's business office, including patient registration and medical record keeping.
