Patient Care Tech , Respiratory Therapy - Per Diem
About The Position
We are seeking a current Respiratory Therapy student to assist in a clinical capacity per diem while in school. Demonstrates entry-level skill in and knowledge of respiratory therapies. Demonstrates the ability to work independently and exhibits flexibility in decision-making and prioritizing assignments. Demonstrates the ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with patients, providers, family, staff and visitors. Actively guards the confidentiality of sensitive information including but not limited to, the patients, staff and the health system.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Enrolled in a Respiratory Therapy program having completed at least one semester required
- BLS certification required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Nice To Haves
- Previous health care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assists Respiratory Therapist in turning around respiratory equipment
- Obtaining requested supplies
- Restocking coding carts and other duties as assigned
- Demonstrates entry-level skill in and knowledge of respiratory therapies
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently and exhibits flexibility in decision-making and prioritizing assignments
- Demonstrates the ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with patients, providers, family, staff and visitors
- Actively guards the confidentiality of sensitive information including but not limited to, the patients, staff and the health system.
