About The Position

You will be under the supervision of the registered nurse (RN), and will assist the nursing staff in providing patient care in accordance with the PCT's skills/training and the needs of the Department.

Requirements

• Graduate from high school or equivalent.
• Current C.N.A certification in the state of Nevada.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Complete a competency skills checklist within 3 months of employment.
• Minimum of one-year direct patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the nursing staff in providing patient care.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment.
• Promote consistent, positive patient interactions.
• Demonstrate caring and empathy in all interactions.
• Engage in evidence-based best practices that enhance the patient experience.
• Participate as an active member of the health care team.
