The role you'll contribute: At AdventHealth Texas Hugley, our primary customers are patients and families. Our partners are physicians and our team members are all employees of AdventHealth Texas Hugley. The Patient Care Tech works under supervision of the professional nurse, assisting in performing specific duties and activities of daily living in caring for age specific groups identified in the position responsibilities. Adheres to the AdventHealth Texas Hugley Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Requirements

High School Graduate or Equivalent Required
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required

Nice To Haves

1 year Work Experience Preferred
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Preferred

Responsibilities

Assists in the delivery of patient care by performing tasks under the direction of a licensed nurse.
Accurately performs vital signs and documents in the electronic medical record
Documents and reports all procedures accurately and in accordance with department policy.
Perform duties and patient care according to policy and procedure.
