Functions as a clinical support and interdisciplinary team member to meet patient and family care needs. Works directly with RN/RT(R) to identify patient needs and contribute to the plan of care. Communicates with health care team, patient and family. Provides assistance and ensures safe environment of care. Applies principles of continuous improvement to all aspects of the job performance. Maintains professional conduct and appearance in performance of daily activities and communicates and works effectively with physicians and other staff members. Requirements

  • Must be a student in an accredited program for Radiologic Technology, Nursing, PA, MD, or actively pursuing acceptance in to a program of Radiologic Technology, School of Nursing, Medical school and/or pre-program, or other medical program.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
  • Flexibility (Works flexible hours, which include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends).
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Teamwork Basic improvement concepts and techniques.
  • Current BLS certification or within six months of employment.

Responsibilities
