About The Position

Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Nursing Assistant; Patient Care Tech; PCT to join our team at Johnson Memorial Hospital. This person is responsible for assisting patients of various injuries, illnesses and disabilities while providing exceptional care to patients.

Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma/GED.
• Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks.
• CPR/Basic Life Support certification required (AMA or Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Helps assigned patients with all activities of daily living.
• Assists with personal hygiene, fluid intake, elimination, bathing, and dressing.
• Delivers ice and beverages to patients as directed.
• Performs selected tasks such as patient transport and collection of specimens.
• Distributes linens and supplies to patient rooms.
• Provides care according to hospital procedures in a manner that protects the safety and dignity of patients.
• May perform secretarial tasks to aid in the flow of the unit.
