About The Position

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is responsible for performing assigned patient care activities and assisting licensed nursing personnel. This role operates under the direct supervision of the Patient Care Manager or designee and is responsible for assigned areas during one shift. Incumbents may be subject to overtime and call-back as required by the facility.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Skills in oral and written grammar, communication, and basic mathematics
• Ability to perform support activities in patient care
• Licensed as a CNA through the Office of Long Term Care (current or previous)
• Completion of a state approved CNA training program
• Completion of a minimum of one semester of an RN/LPN program with a nursing skills checklist completed by the nursing instructor
• One year of PCT experience within an acute care setting
