About The Position

As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will be a crucial member of our collaborative nursing care team, delivering essential support and helping create a safe, welcoming environment for patients. Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Demonstrated or tested ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology
• 1+ years of experience in an acute care setting preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• CNA license as mandated by state of practice

Responsibilities

• Providing care for Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, feeding, and assisting with movement, to keep patients comfortable and supported
• Checking vital signs, collecting specimens, and sharing updates with the nursing team to support timely, informed care
• Maintaining clean, safe, and well-stocked patient rooms by following infection prevention standards and keeping the environment organized
• Preparing patients for procedures and responding promptly to call lights and patient needs
• Creating a positive experience by communicating clearly, showing empathy, and supporting patients and their families throughout their care journey
