About The Position
Piedmont Macon is a 310-bed facility providing compassionate, patient-centered care in middle Georgia. Founded in 1971 as Coliseum Park Hospital by Hospital Corporation of America, Piedmont Macon Medical has grown to be a healthcare leader for middle Georgians. In May 1998, a merger with two other Macon hospitals, middle Georgia and Coliseum Northside Hospitals, provided our community better access and choice of quality healthcare facilities. The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.
Requirements
- Education H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- Work Experience No experience required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of patient care experience Preferred
- CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
- Certification from a Patient Care Technician program Preferred
Responsibilities
