Eligibility Requirements: Active CNA Certification Minimum 6 months of hospital experience as a CNA/PCT Reliable personal transportation is required, as team members may be asked to travel between campuses during a shift A valid driver’s license is required, along with the ability to meet driving record standards What Makes IRT Special? Dynamic Environment: Enjoy the flexibility of floating every 4 hours, gaining exposure to a wide range of patient care scenarios. Balanced Scheduling: Every 4th weekend rotation and holiday coverage includes just one winter and one summer holiday . Requirements

  • CNA certification required
  • Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within three (3) months from date of hire.
  • Six months of hospital clinical experience
  • Must be 16 years old or older
  • Level 3 Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently , and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Responsibilities

  • PCTs will perform patient care and treatments under supervision of a RN.
  • Provides and documents care including, but not limited to, activities of daily living, mobility, specimen collection and respiratory support activities as directed by the RN.
  • Possess the ability to lift, move, position and transport patients.
  • Demonstrates the ability to meet the department work schedule.
  • Demonstrates initiative to improve quality of care, patient and employee safety, and customer service.
  • Team members under the age of 18 may not independently operate mechanical lift equipment.
