About The Position

The Clinical Tech Intern works under the supervision of a nurse, and taking into consideration the developmental needs of the patient, performs routine patient activities and delegated patient care procedures of a specialized and technical nature as competency documentation designates.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required.
• Entry-level knowledge of basic clinical skills required.
• BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to advance to the PCT I role upon meeting training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine patient activities under the supervision of a nurse.
• Execute delegated patient care procedures as designated by competency documentation.
• Support nursing personnel with patient care activities focused on the needs and comfort of patients.
