Patient Care Tech Intern - CNA – Surgical Oncology Full Time –Day Shift – 36 hours The Patient Care Tech Intern works under the supervision of a nurse and taking into consideration the developmental needs of the patient, performs routine patient activities and delegated patient care procedures of a specialized and technical nature as competent documentation designates. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required.
- Entry-level knowledge of basic clinical skills required to support nursing personnel with patient care activities and related services focused on the needs and comfort of patients.
- PCT Intern will remain in an intern role for no longer than 1 year.
- The PCT Intern will advance to the PCT I upon meeting training requirements.
- BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.
- Authorization to Work in the United States: Applicants who require sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered for this position.
