Job Description Patient Care Techs II are responsible for the following: Assists in the admitting, transporting, and transferring of patients. Responds to bedside alarms, ventilator alarms, and call bells. Provides care to patients and prioritizes based on care requirements delegated by the RN. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, the Patient Care Tech participates in the delivery of patient care within the critical care environment. The qualifications for this position include: High School Diploma or equivalent required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required PCT, EMT, or CNA certification required Completion of advanced clinical course preferred Handle with Care certification preferred Dysrhythmia course certification preferred Two years nursing assistant, PCT or healthcare experience required – certification and completion of advances skills and knowledge training within 6 months of hire accepted in lieu of experience requirement Shift/Hours: Full-Time/Rotating- 36 hours weekly This position is located at Jefferson, Abington Work Shift Rotating (United States of America)
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
