Requirements

• High school or GED
• BLS through American Heart Association
• 2+ years of NA, MA or PCT in a ASC/Surgical center setting or 2 + years NA, MA or PCT with KSC ASC experience
• Basic computer knowledge
• Demonstrated clear communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Graduate from approved MA/NA program
• Certified PCT/MA/NA
• Bilingual

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive patient care under direct supervision of RN in all areas of the ASC (Recovery Room, Preop, Extended Stay, Endoscopy, and OR)
• Take the lead role at Patient Care Technician for role modeling / precepting
• Act as a liaison between materials management and nurses to ensure supplies and equipment are available for patient use
