Patient Care Tech I- Nelson 8 (Day 40)
About The Position
As a PCT on Nelson 8 you will be a member of healthcare team working on an acute medical and telemetry unit with 23 inpatient beds focused on patients with respiratory, cardiac and heart failure illness, liver and renal disease, substance abuse and mental status changes, along with a variety of other diagnoses. Nelson 8 is committed to providing a comforting and encouraging environment to all who arrive onto this unit. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required.
- 1 year of acute care (hospital) tech experience.
- BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.
- Authorization to Work in the United States: Applicants who require sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered for this position.
