About The Position

Qualified PCT's, take your career to the next level with Johns Hopkins Medicine. We are looking PCT's with In Patient / Hospital experience to work at Johns Hopkins Medicine. The Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CVPCU) is a 32-bed adult inpatient surgical unit. The unit offers 3 levels of care: floor, telemetry, and intermediate care for acute cardiac, vascular, and other surgical patients requiring cardiac monitoring. Care and services provided: coronary artery bypass, Heartmate II or III & Heartware mechanical circulatory support devices, valve replacement or repairs, Type A & B aortic dissections, fem-pop bypass, scalenectomy, TAVR, heart or lung transplantation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required
• 1 year of acute care (hospital) tech experience within the most recent 2 years is required (EMT or CRT experience may be considered)
• BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted
