About The Position
A trusted source of comprehensive, high-quality care for residents of Conyers and surrounding communities, Piedmont Rockdale is a cornerstone of wellness as the only acute-care facility in Rockdale County. Piedmont Rockdale offer 24-hour emergency services, medical and surgical services and obstetrics/women's services including a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Laborist program. The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- No experience required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of patient care experience Preferred
- CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
- Certification from a Patient Care Technician program Preferred
Responsibilities
