About The Position

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) position at Elmhurst Hospital is a full-time role on the night shift (7 PM to 7 AM) that requires rotating holidays and weekends. The PCT will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) and will perform various patient care tasks and procedures to ensure the comfort and safety of patients. This role is essential in providing quality care and support to patients in a healthcare setting.

Requirements

• Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Associates or American Red Cross.
• Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or a minimum of six months of previous patient care experience.
• Completion of one nursing clinical rotation.
• Successful completion of the Care Companion Course within six months of hire if required by the department.
