About The Position

The Patient Care Tech position is a full-time role with a schedule from 7 AM to 7 PM on day shifts. The position involves performing direct patient care tasks under the direction of a Registered Nurse and executing various tasks as designated by competency documentation. The role provides direct patient care limited to non-invasive procedures unless the individual is specifically certified in phlebotomy. Requirements

  • High School diploma.
  • At least six months of recent hospital, long-term care, or medical work experience.
  • Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant Course, or two years of nursing school.
  • Fundamental computer skills and keyboard familiarity.
  • Fluency in speaking and writing English.
  • Demonstrated communication, organization, and critical thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
