This position functions as both a Patient Care Tech (PCT) and Health Unit Coordinator (HUC). A Patient Care Tech functions as a clinical support partner assisting the patient care team by performing various tasks and procedures as instructed by a licensed professional. A Health Unit Coordinator, under the direction of nursing leadership, facilitates unit organization and patient care by assisting in the coordination of patient, nursing, physician and other health care provider office and clerical activities. PART-TIME VARIABLE SHIFT PCT NEEDED Unit Specifics: Medical is a great place to solidify and maintain nursing skills. Our skilled nurses help provide excellent orientation and growth opportunities. Nurses mainly work with Hospitalist physicians, therapists, social workers and CNA’s to care for the majority of our patients. Our two subspecialties are: End of Life and Oncology care. Patient to CNA ratio is 8-12:1 Shift start times are 0500 and 1700. This position requires availability to work a combination of day and night shift.
