We are looking to hire a Patient Care Tech/ CAN Med Surg Unit.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of 75-hour certified nurse aide course required.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of 150-hour advanced certified nurse aide course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Provides patients with basic nursing care.
• Assists in maintaining a safe, clean environment in accordance with established methods and procedures.
• Assists with admission, discharge and transfer of patients to and from the unit.
• Measures and records heights, weights, intakes and outputs, and appetites as directed.
• Obtains vitals and blood glucose readings as directed.
• Maintains an awareness of personal and patient safety when performing all duties.
