About The Position

The Patient Care Supervisor (PCS) is considered a front-line department/unit leader. The PCS will directly lead clinical support staff and assist in the leadership of RN staff. This position will also be expected to support the NICU at Mercy as needed.

Requirements

• Active RN on Minnesota Board of Nursing required
• Current BLS required
• Bachelor's degree in nursing required
• 3 years of direct patient care experience within a related specialty.

Nice To Haves

• Informal leadership experience is preferred (charge RN, clinical educator, preceptor, etc.).
• Desired characteristics: dependable, responsible, strong conflict resolution skills, knowledge of assigned unit, ability to multi-task, self-starter with ability to problem solve independently.
• Availability for on-call and off-hours rotations/situations as decided by department/unit.
