About The Position
The ETSU College of Nursing invites applications for a full-time Patient Care Specialist for our Johnson City Community Healthcare Clinic. The Patient Care Specialist supports clinical operations in a healthcare setting by assisting nurses with direct patient care. Key responsibilities include administering injections, performing EKGs, collecting specimens, assisting with procedures and examinations, and completing carious non-professional nursing and clerical tasks. This role requires a solid understanding of basic nursing principles and practices. Eligible for $1,500.00 Sign-On Bonus - $500.00 after 30-days of continual employment. $1,000.00 after 6-months of continued employment within the CON OOP department as an initial sign-on retention bonus. A sign-on bonus is not eligible when transferring or being promoted to a new position within the CON OOP.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- RMA, CMA (AAMA certification) or LPN.
- Current CPR/BLS card required.
