About The Position
Sentara Cardiology Specialists Port Warwick in Newport News is hiring a Patient Care Specialist. This role provides non-clinical support within a physician's office, ensuring an excellent patient experience by performing a variety of complex administrative tasks to support patient care delivery. Teamwork is highly valued, with colleagues collaborating to provide the best patient care. The position requires floating to other Cardiology offices, with travel mileage reimbursable to Williamsburg and Virginia Beach. Requirements
- HS Diploma
- 3 years’ Customer Service experience
- 1 year experience with Health Insurance Plans, Medical Records Data, Medical Terminology, Registration, Scheduling, or Third-Party Payers
