About The Position

The Patient Care Specialist 2 (PCS2) contributes to AHF by embodying our commitment to excellence in patient care and operational efficiency. Through cross-functionality, PCS2s play a pivotal role in ensuring that our healthcare center operates seamlessly and that our patients receive the best client experience and the highest standard of care. A PCS2 enhances the reputation of AHF by embodying our commitment to excellence in patient care, patient retention, operational efficiency, and adaptability. This role requires a Medical Assistant Diploma. The schedule is Mon 9a-6p, Tue 9a-5p, Wed/Thu/Fri 8a-5p (Lunch 1p-2p).

Requirements

• Medical Assistant Diploma.
• Ability to transition between clinical, administrative, and front office roles.
• Commitment to AHF's core values and mission.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical assistant clinical functions including phlebotomy.
• Perform administrative duties including front office tasks.
• Process patient referrals and identify and verify insurance coverage.
• Participate in cross-functional rotations to enhance adaptability.
• Collaborate with other AHF employees and departments to provide high-quality care.
