About The Position

This position administers quality patient care according to established standards. Follows direction of RN\LPN or physician. May be required to work in other areas according to skill of staff and acuity of patients. Provides exceptional service to all patients and customers. This position works under the supervision of an RN\LPN or physician and is employed by Mosaic Health Systems.

Requirements

• All required education is a minimum requirement. Higher levels of education are acceptable. High School Diploma or GED or HiSET equivalent required.
• Non-violent patient intervention must be obtained during initial training period
• Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire required.
• 1 year satisfactory work experience in healthcare required.

Responsibilities

• Provides continuous observation of the patient.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment for the patient. Observes safety and infection control standards.
• Observes and reports any changes in the patient’s physical, emotional, and mental conditions.
• Provides the patient with a sense of security and protects the patient from injury.
• Receives report about the patient regarding the plan of care for dealing with the patient’s activities.
• Other duties as assigned
