Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required
• 1 year of medical office experience, preferred
• Allscripts PM/EMR knowledge preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and be able to prioritize and multitask
• Self-starter, team player and display exceptional customer service
• Excellent communication

Nice To Haves

• scheduling experience is a plus!
• 1 year of medical office experience
• Allscripts PM/EMR knowledge

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and check patients in
• Assist with scheduling procedures
• Assemble packets
• Prepare, verify, and update patient information in medical records
• Answer phone calls, direct calls to appropriate departments
• Maintain patient confidentiality within HIPAA guidelines
• Complete special projects and assist staff in completing assignments as needed
• Assist with managerial tasks, as needed
