About The Position

SMG Family Medicine Thoroughgood in Virginia Beach, VA is hiring a Patient Care Representative! This position is full-time, Monday through Friday on day shift. No weekends or major holidays! Overview Responsible for registration process of new and current patients at the site. Completes check-in and check-out functions to include collection of co-pays, scheduling of appointments, and requests for medical records. Answers telephone calls and greet all patients and visitors with a smile. Must have ability to communicate with insurance carriers and discharge planners in a professional manner. Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Must be enthusiastic and energetic.

• Previous front-desk or patient care experience (Preferred)
