About The Position

The Patient Care Representative for Maternal Fetal Medicine is responsible for scheduling, meeting, greeting, and registering patients in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. This role involves answering and routing telephone calls and messages, coordinating insurance verifications and preauthorizations, taking payments, and completing daily batching. The representative also maintains medical records and prepares charts for clinic sessions, providing assistance as needed to physicians, the Practice Manager, and clinical staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of office/clerical experience required.
• Two years of healthcare/medical primary care/office experience required.
