About The Position

The Patient Care Representative for Cardiovascular Diagnostics at the Outpatient Pavilion is responsible for greeting, scheduling, meeting, and registering patients in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. This role involves answering and routing telephone calls and messages, coordinating insurance verifications and pre-authorizations, and maintaining medical records. The representative prepares charts and paperwork for all Medical Imaging modalities and accurately registers and places orders for these modalities. A working knowledge of Epic is essential for this position. Additionally, the representative monitors the waiting area and communicates with clinical staff regarding patient readiness, providing assistance as needed to physicians, Department Managers, and clinical staff.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• One Year Office/Clerical Experience Required
• One Year Healthcare Field Required
