About The Position

TwelveStone Health Partners is focused on the medication needs of patients with chronic, complex and rare conditions. We support the transition from acute to post-acute care environments and the journey from sickness to health. We are currently licensed in 50 states. For patients, we provide access to the most advanced medications, along with the personal and financial support patients need to live with chronic conditions. For providers, we simplify treatment for complex conditions by eliminating the administrative and clinical burdens placed on your practice when patients need innovative specialty medications. We currently have openings for full-time Patient Care Pharmacy Technician I positions in the Murfreesboro area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A current, unrestricted pharmacy technician license in the state of practice.
• Pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) required.
• Two years experience in a pharmacy setting preferred.
• Home Infusion pharmacy experience required.
• Prior managerial experience a plus.
• Must be proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Enter medication order for new referrals.
• Prepare refills for subsequent visits based on Infusion Center schedules.
• Communicate with IC pharmacists and technicians and infusion center staff to keep ICs running smoothly.
• Contact physicians office requesting new orders, labs, and pre-medications as needed.
• Troubleshoot within department as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide excellent quality care for our patients.
• Assist in creation and updating of policies, procedures and special projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
