About The Position

Watertown Regional Medical Center is NOW HIRING for a full-time Patient Care Partner to join our Float Pool team working NIGHTS! NOW OFFERING SIGN ON BONUS UP TO $7,500 This is a fulltime position working 7p to 7a, 3 days a week. Job Summary The Nursing Assistant - Nursing Float Pool supports nursing staff by assisting patients with activities of daily living, hygiene, mobility, and basic clinical tasks under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This position contributes to patient safety, comfort, and care coordination while promoting a clean and efficient unit environment. Certification is not required but must meet facility competency requirements. The float pool made up of RNs and Techs that are cross-trained to various departments throughout the hospital. This team ensures adequate staffing coverage for planned and unplanned events and allows the facility to flex staffing between different departments to support the various needs that arise, including Medical/Surgical, Intensive Care Unit, Emergency, Ambulatory, and OB/GYN. C.N.A Seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the role of Patient Care Partner (PCP). Willing to also consider Medical Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses or Emergency Medical Technicians for this role. The PCP is responsible for providing a variety of patient care, environmental and equipment related services such as assisting with patient care, observing, and documenting illness and/or injury, order entry, wound cleaning, patient transport, room restocking and maintaining equipment Also the more advanced skills IV starts, Urinary Catheter insertions, Telemetry monitoring, Phlebotomy, Vital Sign monitoring, ADLs, and EKGs Will work collaboratively as a part of a patient focused team to provide excellent care and services Watertown Regional Medical Center offers a great work environment, competitive pay and benefits including health, dental, vision, 401K, life and disability insurance. Requirements

  • Minimum requirement of current CNA, EMT or LPN certification/license issued by the State of Wisconsin, required
  • CPR Certification, required
  • Ability to apply critical thinking, analytical and participative behavior to solving techniques and decision making

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer 1 year of patient care experience in a health care facility
