Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Social Work is required. Equivalent experience may be accepted in place of a Bachelor’s degree in nursing (an RN license or social work license is mandatory).
  • If you are a Registered Nurse, you must hold a valid license to practice in Michigan.
  • Additionally, for individuals hired into this position after January 1, 2015, obtaining a BSN within five years of the start date is mandatory.
  • Candidates must have recent hospital patient care experience (at least three years) and a solid understanding of hospital operations.
  • Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
  • MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
