Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of business office experience is required.
• Minimum 1 year of dental office experience is required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Compassionate & Professional: You maintain a professional appearance and a conduct that reflects our high standards of care.
• Highly Organized: You have an "eagle eye" for detail, from verifying Payer IDs to restocking patient supplies.
• Team-Oriented: You work cooperatively with the back-office team and doctors to provide opportunities for same-day care.
• Dependable: You have a track record of regular and predictable attendance and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in Dentrix and experience with cosmetic or implant dentistry is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients by name, manage check-ins, and ensure our waiting area remains a clean, welcoming environment.
• Pull and verify insurance data for next-day appointments, take payments, and accurately post them to patient accounts.
• Create and maintain digital medical files, ensuring all patient forms, insurance cards, and photos are updated and scanned correctly.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for incoming calls, utilizing a professional and kind tone to direct patients and handle inquiries.
• Prepare weekly reports (day sheets, adjustment sheets, aging reports) and coordinate with the insurance coordinator to problem-solve and correct entries.
