About The Position

Hematology Oncology Associates was established in Palm Beach County over 35 years ago, and has grown to include 10 Board Certified Hematologist and Oncologists and 6 Nurse Practitioners in 3 convenient locations within our community. Our goals are to provide state of the art cancer treatments with a high level of compassionate care in a warm inviting environment. We also specialize in treatment of coagulation blood disorders, leukemias and other hematologic benign conditions. Job Description: Greeted patients and visitors with warmth, professionalism, and empathy Checked patients in and out of appointments, ensuring all required forms and consents were completed Verify and update patient demographics, insurance information, and contact details Collected copayments and outstanding balances and provided receipts as needed Answer multi-line phone system, route calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments as requested Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area Communicate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth daily operations Handled incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and deliveries Uphold HIPAA standards and maintain patient confidentiality at all times We are looking to add a positive, highly-motivated team player that is knowable and at the same time demonstrate a desire to learn and offer the best patient care possible leaving a meaningful mark on our community.
