About The Position

Results Physiotherapy, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, is seeking an entry-level Patient Care Coordinator to join their team in Cary, NC. This role is responsible for maintaining pleasant and consistent daily operations of the clinic, requiring excellent customer service skills and the ability to multitask across multiple computer programs. The Patient Care Coordinator - I (PCC-I) supports clinic growth through excellence in executing practice management and patient intake processes. This individual collaborates with the Clinic Director (CD) to ensure efficient clinic procedures and is responsible for upholding the mission, vision, and values of Upstream Rehabilitation.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Communication skills – must be able to relate well to Business Office and Field leadership
  • Ability to multitask, organizational detail, ability to meet deadlines, work with little to no supervision
  • As a member of a team, must possess efficient time management and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Greet everyone who enters the clinic in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Schedule new referrals received by fax or telephone from patients and physician offices.
  • Verify insurance coverage for patients.
  • Collect patient payments and all money due at the time of service.
  • Maintain an orderly and organized front office workspace.
  • Convert referrals into evaluations.
  • Schedule patient visits.
  • Create an inviting clinic atmosphere and make welcome calls.
  • Monitor and influence arrival rate through creation of a great customer experience.
  • Manage schedule efficiently.
  • Manage document routing.
  • Manage personal overtime.
  • Manage non-clinical documentation.
  • Manage deposits.
  • Manage caseload, D/C candidate, progress note, and insurance reporting.
  • Monitor clinic inventory.
  • Attend any required training with the Territory Field Trainers (TFT) for Raintree and other business process updates.
  • Complete quarterly compliance training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
